I look to you for wishes sweet.And everything so nice and neat.

I look to you for sunny days. Bright blue skies and summer haze.

I look to you in times of trouble. To find my soul in life's rubble.

I look to you to stay strong. To right my every sinful wrong.

I look to you when I feel alone. And feel uncertain of things unknown.

I look to you as I grow old. When I'm seeking shelter from the cold.

I look to you when darkness falls. When I feel my back is against the wall.

I look to you to walk with me. Through the rain and stormy seas.

I  look up to you as you hang there. In all your suffering and despite.

I look up to you in heaven above. As you gave to me your undying love.

I look up to you to help me see. You hung there on that cross for me.

I look up to you to help me through. Because I'm nothing without you.
