As I close my eye's to pray
Help me Lord to find the meaning
Of why I'm still here today.
I was with you there in heaven
In the dream I had last night
Everything was beautiful
Everything just right
There was no sadness or no sorrow
No yesterday's or no tomorrows
The love and peace of eternial life
Away from all this daily strife
Wrap me in your arms dear Lord
And help me find my way
To make it through these daily struggles
Of a brand new day.
The next time that I dream of heaven
